To be eligible for AARP Medicare Supplement plans, you must be enrolled in Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) and be 65 years old or older, or have a qualifying disability. Enrollment in these plans typically takes place during the open enrollment period, which is a six-month period that begins on the first day of the month in which you turn 65 and enroll in Medicare Part B.
