Pakistan Railways wishes to invite sealed tenders for cargo services. The major freight will include raw materials, food grains, industrial products and consumer goods from Rawalpindi (railway station) and Pakistan Japan Friendship Bridge (Railway Station) crossing point at Wagah. The Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPPRA) has released an e-tender notice inviting all interested parties to submit their bids in order to furnish electrical goods and equipment including air conditioners, inverters, battery chargers and converters. All bids must be delivered to PPRA offices by December 1st at 9am and include a breakdown of prices, pictures of products and all technical specifications. Bids not submitted via email will not be considered valid.
The PPRA is responsible for all public procurement and asset management in Punjab and aims to make buying from state suppliers easier. The authority has previously released a notice regarding a bulk purchase of refrigerators, which were requested to be delivered by May 17th at 9am. It also recently published an e-tender notice in relation to air conditioning units which will have to be delivered by November 15th at 9am.
